Mark Snyder’s eighth-grade government students at Shirland School have been studying the meaning of citizenship and its rights, duties and responsibilities.
One of the responsibilities of citizenship is to be engaged in your community. As a way to put that responsibility into practice and as a culmination of the study, students select a topic of interest or concern, research it and write a letter to the editor.
“As their teacher, I often find myself disagreeing with the opinions of my students, and the students often disagree with each other as well,” Snyder writes. “Part of responsible citizenship is learning to appreciate the opinions of others civilly, even when those opinions differ from our own.”Student letters will appear on these pages in the coming weeks.
Wake up people. The 2020 election was not rigged. I’m tired of hearing people argue about who won.
Some citizens of the U.S think that the election had voter fraud, that Trump actually won and not Joe Biden. This is not true at all. This has been disproven many times.
According to Campaignlegal.org, “There were over 60 court cases where judges, including judges appointed by President Trump and other Republican Presidents, looked at the evidence in many cases and said there is not widespread fraud.” 60 court cases disproved Trump. 60. The election was not rigged. Face it. Joe Biden won, whether you like it or not.
Usatoday.com published an article by Ken Block. Ken Block was hired by Trump to find voter fraud. Ken Block said, “The findings of my company’s in-depth analysis … transcripts show that the campaign found no evidence of voter fraud sufficient to change the outcome of any election.” The guy that Trump hired to find voter fraud found no evidence of voter fraud.
Some people might say that Trump won simply because he said that he won. However, you can’t believe everything he says.
According to Nbcnews.com when asked about immigrants, Trump said, “‘They’re eating the dogs. The people that came in … They’re eating the cats.’” Obviously, this is not true, with NBC writing, “… police there released a statement Monday knocking down the stories and saying they hadn’t seen any documented examples.”
You can’t believe everything Trump says. He sometimes says stuff that is not true. Obviously, immigrants are not eating cats and dogs.
Tell your friends and family that the 2020 election was not rigged, and not to argue about it. It has been settled.
